  • Write about the symbols we listed in class. Are there more in the later reading? Find a quote or two to illustrate them.
  • Think about a "Creative Test." This is not due until Friday, November 21. These are mainly choices that YOU suggested today (good ones!), with a couple of additions at the end by me:

CLASSWORK

  • A little discussion of Fahrenheit 451 (much more to follow later in the week)
  • Politics and the "straw vote." As a class we reversed our previous vote of McCAIN 13, OBAMA 10 to OBAMA 10, McCAIN 8, NADER 2 and CHUCK BALDWIN 2. Go figure!
  • On Wednesday we will find out how closely our class reflected the national vote. Let's see...would that be 55% Obama 45% McCain?

Please make sure you have read through page 136 in Fahrenheit 451 and that you have completed the study guide.
